Thank you for visiting our website. We want you to feel at home and comfortable here in our friendly and family-oriented community at Prince of Peace (POP). We are a church that belongs to Christ. What WE believe at POP  and the church’s Mission and Vision are shared here.

If you’re planning your first visit, learn more here about what to expect. You can join us in-person or online each Sunday at 10am. We stream our service on Facebook Live.

You will discover many exciting opportunities at POP for fellowship  and ministry. Our website is just the introduction to the spirit of our church. All are welcome here – those who believe as well as those who are seeking. We’d love to have you join us for an upcoming service.

Fourth Sunday in Lent

Service at 10:00 am

Join us for the Fourth Sunday in Lent as we reflect on the boundless grace of God. In Luke 15:1-3, 11b-32, we hear the powerful parable of the prodigal son. As the father sees his son from a distance, runs to him, and welcomes him home, we are reminded of God’s unwavering compassion and love for us, even when we feel lost or far away.

What to Expect:

Scripture Reflection:

Luke 15:1-3, 11b-32 – The parable of the prodigal son and the depth of God’s mercy.

Uplifting Worship: A time of prayer, music, and reflection.

Message from Pastor Craig: A message of hope, reminding us that God is always running toward us with open arms, ready to welcome us home.

Holy Communion: Experience the grace and presence of Christ at His table.

In Person: Worship with us at Prince of Peace Lutheran Church.

Online: Join our live stream on FACEBOOK LIVE.

As we journey through Lent, let us keep our hearts on the One whose compassionate heart

never stops seeking us, welcoming us, and keeping us alive in His grace.

We look forward to worshiping with you.

Welcome to Children's Church and Sunday School

We encourage all families to add to their Sunday morning worship by coming during the Education Hour to grow in God’s Word. Taking place from 10:00 am to 11:00 am. Sunday School helps children explore God’s story through new Bible stories each week.  Our lessons include games and activities that allow the kids to form friendships with other children. There are Sunday School classes for all ages starting Preschool age.

Welcome Our Newest Child of God to POP

Would you like to schedule a Baptism?

At Prince of Peace, we believe that God’s grace is for everyone. For this reason, we gladly baptize adults, infants, and children. Infants, children and adults become a part of the Christian community in Holy Baptism, a ritual of word and washing with water. We believe baptism sets us on our faith journey with God.
Baptism is a public event for the whole family of God to celebrate! Baptism services are held on selected weekends during worship service.

If you are considering having your child baptized or if you would like to be baptized, please contact Pastor Craig at corsairfud@yahoo.com or 708-710-8508 or the church office at 630-969-1268 or popwoodridge@gmail.com.
